It is extremely important to care for your diamonds. One way of cleaning diamonds is to give them a detergent bath. A small bowl of warm water and a bit of mild detergent can recover your diamond. After scrubbing your diamond with an eyebrow brush, transfer it to a strainer and rinse well with warm water. Pat the stone dry with a lint-free cloth and soak it in a half and half mixture of ammonia and water for 30 minutes. Then drain the stone on a piece of tissue paper. The other way to clean your diamond is to buy one of the high-quality liquid diamond cleaners.
